Which one should I read first?

Posted on 6:31 PM, under

Today I got these two books in the mail thanks to an awesome amazon.com gift card from my sister (as a side note: an amazon.com gift card is a super solid gift. Especially since now you can buy practically everything on amazon.  Just be careful because if you buy stuff from an amazon seller and not from amazon direct it won't qualify for free shipping).

Anyway, now I have to decide which one to read first.  So I thought I'd leave it up to you. Tell me what to read.  Here are the choices.

A)  Confessions of an Advertising Man.  By David Ogilvy. Considered practically the Bible of advertising it really is embarrassing I haven't read it yet.  But there's no time like the present to learn from Mr. David "the grandfather of modern advertising" Ogilvy.

B)  Jesus Want to Save Christians.  By Rob Bell and Don Golden.  I know.  I know.  Some of you aren't Rob Bell fans and I'm probably about to stop drinking the Kool-aid.  But I enjoyed his last two books and I'm curious to see if this is the one where he pushes the too cool for school, social-seeker agenda too far for the likes of me.

So there they are. Place your votes in the comment section.

hmmmm.... a leadership book fan, I'd probably go with the advertising one first...

I'm with you on Amazon. I get just about everything there. Yesterday we baked pies and I realized that there has to be SOMETHING on the market to protect crusts while baking. Sure enough silicone shields on Amazon -- with one click they're on the way to me!

    Love ya!,

I say, put both in a bag and let Maddy pick one out. If it's not to your liking, read the one left in the bag!
